Picked up a new leftover '15 hyperstrada this spring. This is my first Ducati but I've been riding for a while now. Trail riding, super moto racing and street riding. Coming off a KTM 950 Supermoto as my last bike, which was a great bike, but I am loving this Ducati!

Good, I've been boycotting them for quite a few years. The service manager and i don't always see eye to eye.
Moon on the other hand, very helpful. The work is done fast, well, and reasonably priced. That's where mine will be going in the end of the summer for it's 18k service.

Hi, just bought a Hyperstrada 15 and new to the forum. Coming from Chile where I had a Honda Transalp.
Hope to get the best of the season. Do you have any suggestion of twisty roads in MN or WI. I was told that southwest WI has nice twisty roads.

I too had a Transalp XL650V and really liked that bike. At the time I was into pretty extreme adventure riding and could see the day that my beloved Transalp would end up on it's side over the edge of a track. Got a KTM 625SXC which was much more suited to that sort of thing. Now days I can't be bothered with getting dirty and wet. Hyper is fine for shingle (gravel) roads and dry well formed tracks taken reasonably. Cheers.

Yeah, southwest WI has nice twisties. Just be careful though, many of the roads around those parts are "low maintenance", so potholes and rough surfaces are all too common.

I just did a 3 day trip to SW WI last week. As monocog said, many of the roads are rural and do not see much maintenance, and often the corners have gravel. And if you end up in an amish area the roads are covered with horse manure. But when you find the right roads it's worth it. I ended up picking up a nail in the rear tire and the bike road on my trailer the couple hundred miles home (thanks dad for coming to get me). The stock tires had 2430 miles on them and they were toast even if I hadn't got a nail in them. Those roads chew up tires if you ride hard.
