Hi everyone

Just picked up my Hyperstrada this afternoon. So far so good - will ride more tomorrow.

I wasn't sure about the standard seat height - but I am 5'10 and it's very good.

I had a pretty bad accident a year ago on the 25th of May (hit a wild turkey at 120kph...) . A great way to put that behind me!

Cheers
Frederic

Bought from Monette Sports in Laval and was happy with the service. I was initially hesitating between this model and the 1100 Monster Evo. I like / have had other Ducati 2 valves in the past, but thought the HPstrada would be more versatile in the end.

I also considered an MV - but the new 800 which I liked is not available in Canada this year.

OTD was around 17k CAD (14k list price plus taxes and around 850 in transport, prep fees, etc).

I found insurance for around 325$, which was lower than I expected (I was paying 500$ for my 2009 FZ1 last year).

Welcome.

I have found on my few trips out in the boonies, that the animals seem to hear this bike coming from a ways and get to moving before I get there. I really like the sound of the exhaust, pretty loud for a stock can in my opinion.

Welcome to the forum, your going to have lots of fun on this one. I had a Monster before this bike and worried I might miss it. Well I don't. Enjoy and keep the tires rubber side down.

So I guess your HS is white? Small world I'm telling you. I'm from Mtl region as well. Been living around Ottawa for 5+ years now.

I've almost bought my Hyperstrada at Monette sport as well. Super good guys, Can't remember the sale clerk name's anymore.

However, I'm sure you will enjoy the HS as much as I do, she's a perfect fit for Quebec's roads.

Bonne route et soit prudent.

Hey guys in live in Cornwall, right between montreal and ottawa. We should meet up for a ride sometime.

Cornwall? I was just there last week. Sound like a great idea. Though be aware I pratically have no driving experience with fellow biker.

welcome!

welcome to the forum.
I just came back from 400km day trip in mountain area.
The leaves turn to gold and red.
How is it in Canada?
Do you have snow season from November to March?

Ride safe,

Hi from NH

Just traded in my Monster 796 for a white Hyperstrada. Wow! what a difference, rider comfort, power, handling.
Live in NH seacoast area if anyone is up for a ride.

Thanks
