Hello from the most remote capital city in the world!
I've had my Hyper since November last year and so far I'm very happy with it. I had a Kawasaki ZZR600 before that however I've always been drawn to the sound and look of Ducati's.
I'm getting too old for the sport and super sport models in the range and when the HS was released it looked like it would tick many boxes for me. Some of those were upright riding position, reasonable touring cabability (including mild off road) and two up riding. I went to the Perth motorcycle and scooter show last year and bought the HS soon after seeing it there.
At first I found it a bit hard to get used too after the ZZR, but am now really re-shaping my body to it! I haven't done any mods and don't plan to, just added a few bits like a rear luggage rack (as recommended by another forum member) and a Givi GPS holder.
The forums have been a great way of keeping in contact and learning from like minded HS riders.
