Hey all newbie here, I have a 2011 BMW GS 1200 adventure and a 2012 BMW S1000RR. Thinking about getting rid of the adventure in favor of the Hyperstrada, tough decision though for me. The adventure is a great bike, but its heavy and tall. Even with a lowered seat sometimes the height and weight make it a task to stand up. Like when on a slope and its in gravel. I'm 5,9 with 30" inseam. It would be awesome to hear your opinion.
 
Hi Dane - welcome. I find myself in exactly the same situation with my GS (NOT an Adv) - as I get older and less agile and flexible it is becoming increasingly less enjoyable, especially when getting on and off if it's loaded up. So it has gone, replaced by a new R1200R, identical in performance but oh so much easier to access! And of course I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Hyperstrada.

Probably going to put a deposit down next week on a white one. Lawrence what color are you choosing?

I have on order a red one, but from pix I do also quite like the white version, but I guess that just as a Ferrari MUST be red, so must a Ducati! We shall see.... e.t.a. here in Oz late April. L of S
 
Welcome!

I am one to normally lean toward the red, especially for a Ducati, but I love the look of the white Hyperstrada so that's the route I plan on going.
 
Dropped off my GSA on consignment today

Left my 2011 GSA 1200 at the BMW dealer to for sale. Looking for a dealer to put a deposit on the hyperstrada. Making a decision this week.
