Welcome to the forum. It is always easier to respond to your posts if we know where you are and what you've done to your bike. You are in Gabon? Gambia? The independent former USSR state of Georgia?

Seriously though, this is a truly international forum. It amazes me that folks in places like Malaysia and Vietnam own these bikes! Sounds like an adventure right there.

The one reason you are seeing a lot of these bikes in Southeast Asia is they are produced here. Ducati has a plant in Thailand producing I believe a version of the Monster, the Hyperstrada, and the Diavel. Consequently the cost of the bike is reasonable with the lack of import taxes.
