Hi all,

Great forum, spent all morning reading your thoughts on the all new Hyperstrada.

I've got a few bikes, but all sports orientated and have been looking for something a little more comfortable in my old age. I'm now torn in which model to get, there is a great many options for this bike.
And i have fallen for them all.

Other bikes are Ducati 916 foggy rep, Honda NC30, Yamaha RD350YPVS (800miles from new)

Welcome, I have always been a one bike guy, but have 2 now, must sell one or both.

horses for courses

I know you can only ride one at a time, but its what mood takes you, also the foggy rep wont go out in the rain, the NC30 gets used for track days or just everyday use, and well the RD has only done 800miles from new, had it MOT'd earlier this year but doubt I'll ride it much.
Now is the right time for something else, I'd like to do some touring and weekend away trips, not mind if its raining or sun shining, you know what i mean. The new Hyper ticks all my boxes.:)

I only have 500 mi on my CB350 since I rebuilt it 2 years ago. It's my around town bike during nice weather.

Nice, i'd like to ride my Yamaha, but it was bought as an investment, it's not been restored, its totally original and been off the road for 28years in a private collection, it still has the 1st and only tax disc on it from 1985, and a genuine 800miles. I've only done approx 30miles on it. If i rode it it would depreciate in value, it's going to go into my games room as an ornament. Sad i know having a bike and not riding it, But i would sooner invest my money on something like that than just look at a bank statement.

if you can afford it might as well keep it. it would be nice to see some pictures of your yamaha antique.

Very nice, I see why you want to keep it as a show piece. Looks like it would be a lot of fun out on the track. My CB was in bad shape when I got it. Broken rings, bent valves, stripped splines on the shift shaft, missing parts, ect. Tank was black with green flames. I bought it to keep me busy during the cold winter. I'm not into sitting and watching TV, have to be working on something. So the bike fit the bill for my winter entertainment.
