Honda nut turned 'strada

Hello!

Thought I'd pop in and say hello, picked up my '14 Hyperstrada a week ago today:



It's my first non-Honda bike actually, and whilst I was a little weary about moving away from Honda reliability and build quality, after a test ride on the 'strada I was hooked - there's just nothing else out there that fits the bill like this little beauty does. And I needed something very different from my Fireblade as I get older and stiffer....



Looking forward to hanging around and getting to know you guys and the bike!

On a side note, has anyone else noticed a heat shield sounding rattle at low revs?

Thanks very much for the warm welcomes guys. Been working on releasing a bit more 'roar' from the engine, went SC-Project exhaust but it sounds horribly untuned so will be putting it up for sale and have an Akrapovic on the way. Wish I could afford the Termi but at £1,300 it's too steep for me!!

I would never trade my 'blade. Not for anything. That bike is just too close to my heart - we've been through a lot together. But then that's very personal and I know some people don't become attached to their bikes in the same way I do.

As a complimentary bike though - the 'strada is perfect. I just hope it stands up to the rigours of all year riding like the VFR I traded in for it did so well...
