Hi everyone!

I can happily say I am now the proud owner of a Hyperstrada 821 and unbelievably I have just noticed that the previous owner of my bike was infact Ducati UK silverstone who used it as a pit bike for the Ducati team! (Not sure if that is good or bad) lol.

i live in Greenwich (london) and wondering if any other strada owners out there want to go for a ride?

Also, I'm thinking of removing the exhaust valve, is it worth it?

Hi Sam, welcome along, I'm an hour up the M1 in Milton Keynes, not removed the valve on mine, are you finding yours too quiet?

******' A man. That valve is stifling to the motor. Disconnecting that and adding an Akra has made the soundtrack... more perfect than if I'd have custom designed just it for my pleasure.

Would love to do a little meet sometime. How would you UK/London guys feel about meeting at the Ace Cafe on a Sat/Sun sometime in the next couple of months? I think we're through the salt and cold now...

Ok, I'll bang up a list of available weekends on Monday. Hopefully we can find one that works for all of us!!

Hi Rutter,

I found it give out a decent amount of dB on the low rev range but as soon as the valve closed it went quite (like you heard more engine noise than Exhaust noise)

Went out for a ride again today and boy is it so much better, I highly suggest you give it a go!

Meet could be good, looks like I need to look into this valve then, shame I am useless with the spanners...

Happy to do it for you at some point, it literally requires 1 8mm spanner and 2 mins of time (not exaggerating with 2 mins either)
