Hyperstrada to Hypermotard

I am not bashing the hyperstrada, but mine is at the dealer today having some warranty work done & I mentioned to them that they can just keep it & I'll take home the hypermotard sp if they would let me keep the bags. I want to hear ya'lls opinions on this decision, but be quick b/c it may happen in a few hours.

Also, tell me what the 2014 sp is worth out the door with my 13' strada with 8,300 miles. The sales guy said he could do a "smokin'" deal, so if that means $5 difference then okay, but if they want $4,000 then...NO!

So far resale values have been pretty bad from the few posts I've seen on here. The SP is already stickered above the Strada and probably higher demand bike. I bet they want a couple grand.

I think you're talking a $15K+ SP vs a '13 Strada worth maybe $9K.

That is correct gat. It is sad that I paid $13 for mine & should have just bought the sp, but I learned a small lesson. I'm not upset. haha

There are still many 2013 stradas in my area NH, I have seen leftover demos with less than 500 miles asking $10k.

what's going with your strada?

I need a bike that is a bit more aggressive & able to handle a little more abuse. Nothing against the strada, but I would prefer different suspension, wheels, seat, & less weight.

Used 2014 SP with 3000 miles was $13k'ish
Used 2013 Strada with 3000 miles was $11k'ish

I was trying to do a trade with a fellow inmate recently and these were the prices
