Hey guys,
I got an absolutely phenomenal deal yesterday on an M2R [made2race] jacket. While this has nothing to do with Ducati, I know, I have to share it.
The jacket was 450 bucks regular price, before tax, and was hanging on an 80% off rack. I thought it was a mistake; I really expected the staff to say "oh no, I'm so sorry, but that's only 25% off".
Anyway, I tried it on and the fit was *perfect*. Also, it's red - very Ducati red - silverish and black...in other words, the colour scheme works beautifully with my Hyper, which is actually the main reason it caught my eye.
With the discount, I paid 100 bucks Canadian - all in - for it. The jacket is mostly 1.4 mm leather with kevlar panels, foam inserts in the back, hard-padded elbows and shoulders, and is perforated throughout for summer riding [believe it or not, it gets really hot in Ottawa from June - September]. I would have gladly paid 250 for it without batting an eyelash, so 100 bucks had me smiling wide.
Just an FYI for Ottawa based riders, I got it at Motorsports World. And no, this isn't a promo for them - by all means, take your business wherever you like. In fact, I buy most of my stuff at Powersports.
Come on spring!!!
