Limp mode / restricted power on 13 HS

So, after buying a 2013 Hyperstrada last month, just been for a 800 mile tour of Scotland. All went well except for on way back on Saturday-bike went in to limp mode, no warning lights or anything but no power. I stopped, switched ignition off and on again and bike was fine again.
I have read that there may be an issue with throttle sensor on 2013 models? I am going to give dealer a phone but just looking for any advice from others who may have experienced same issue. Also, bike is out of warranty so looking for expected price to fix this issue, or I may just live with it- any advice appreciated.
Oh, and the trip and the bike was awesome apart from that.
East Lothian -Tongue-Applecross-Skye-Mallaig-Oban and back again. Not much rain (loads of midges unfotunately) and unbelivable scenery. Go do it if you havent already!

This is a recall done on a bike by bike basis. It's a free repair. Best to go to the dealer and have them check the bike - don't know if they need the vin or the actual part serial number. Pretty pathetic way to deal with it by ducati - but they will deal with it if its the tps.

The throttle thing is a recall. The other problem I have run into was that the bike goes low on battery charge and goes into limp mode.

I recently purchased a 2013 used. I'm very happy with her so far. I typed her VIN into Ducati's website and no issues came up. I assume if there was a recall that needed to be done it would be noted here? Thanks!

The site is not really an indicator of if you need the recall.

The part number on the throttle assembly itself needs to be checked. I do not have the information on what part numbers ore on the recall, but I did see it on the dealers sheet before they took it from me.

Okay- thanks. I'll need to double check then.

Yeah, it was a TSB and not a formal recall. As far as I know, owners don't have a way to look up TSBs. When I had my throttle replaced, they actually had to look at the part anyway as there was some way of identifying the bad units that the VIN didn't capture.

Thanks to all for advice and info. I have booked in for a diagnostic check to see what its all about. Will update when done - hoping its not going to be an expensive fix as bike is out of warranty but will let you all know.
Cheers
