Just a heads up on a simple luggage rack that I bought from Bang Fabrication
Bang Fabrication custom motorcycle luggage racks

I originally ordered the Ducati expandable rear luggage rack 96792610B, but it was a complete cluster f*ck. I don't know what they were thinking, way over engineered and enormous. So I returned it.

These guys have a simple aluminium rack that is designed for the Multistrada, but fits the Hyperstrada. Photos attached. This is their "Small Rack for MTS 1200". Great for strapping your tent to etc. Would not suggest a top box as you need the extra support rails.

That looks sweet! I've been looking into the Altrider rack, this looks like another good option.. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome...ordered mine today. I decided to go with the long version. I also ordered the MotoFizz small bag from aerostich to put on it.

This is the Bang Fab Long Rack:

The hyperstrada, a multistrada, and an frs. tell me those aren't all your toys!

FRS got totaled. My own stupid fault, rear ended the guy in front of me while fiddling with the radio. Only going ~7mph in stop and go traffic, but it was enough to fold the hood, both fenders and set off the air bag. Replaced it with a Honda Accord coupe 6 cyl 6 speed. A little more room and luxury, but still fun to drive.

Had the Bang Fabrication adapter on my Multistrada with a Givi case and transferred it to the Hyperstrada when I got it. Its so much more affordable than the Ducati set up.

Looks nice, but it extends forward too much for the wifey's butt. Same for the backrest, unfortunately.
