Hi, I'm from Makati City, Philippines. Haven't checked in earlier as I was waiting for my bike on order. This is just my second bike (my first Ducati) after getting rid of the previous one 15 years ago. Needed a bike for commuting thru the crowded streets of Manila and for weekend excursions on the side. Originally wanted a Monster 796 but after reading good reviews on the Hypermotards/stradas, changed my mind. Been lurking for awhile and taking note of the discussions, learning from owners ahead of me.

I picked her up from the dealer late afternoon on December 28, 2013. Decided to take her for a spin yesterday, get to know her. After 150kms and even keeping below 6,000 rpm, she's everything I've read about in the reviews and forums. Couldn't be happier.

Kind regards, Epoy

Here she is all stock.

Hi! Must be nice to buy a bike in December and be able to ride it. I on the other hand have 3 ft of snow in my front yard!

yep, save for the occasional typhoons on the second half of the year, it's pretty much summer all year round

I'll be in Makati, and other places in the PI in a few weeks. Too bad I can't bring my Hyperstrada!

Cheers, Monstard. Guess you fared the recent storm. Nice helmet, by the way. How's that helmet do at high speeds?

that's great... vacation? i'm still a noob and haven't hooked up with any riding group yet and not familiar with the best riding spots here. maybe we can arrange a bike rental for you if you're interested. i'll ask my dealer. anyway, enjoy your stay, bike or no bike

yes thank you. we just had some rain as we were too far away from the typhoon. for those that were at ground zero is a different story. helmet is a tour x4, had to purchase it at the dealer because i didn't have a helmet yet when i picked up the bike. haven't done high speeds yet since i try not to go over 130km/h during the running in period and i doubt if my skills would even allow going over 160 km/h. but my friend who used to race professionally says the peak bends inward and touches the shell at 280km/h

Yeah, vacation for my wife and I. We would be down to go on a ride, and rent a bike or two while there.

PM me.

Thanks!
