See link below. I use Michelin pilot road 4, so was a bit surprised about the result. The pilot road 4 is so good in the wet and cold, and still feels so fast steering compared to the scorpion trails, even after I have been on them for 8000km, that hearing it was slow steering compared to the others was a bit of a shock. I do a lot of cold and wet weather riding, so it was at least good to hear the praise for this type of weather.

If any of you are riding on any of the competing tires on the test, let me know your thoughts. I am looking to replace my tires in another 4-5000 km, which is only a couple of months away.

Mmmmm, interesting. I'd be interested to try the Metzler Roadtec after seeing that.

I normally go with Michelin as my go-to for tyres, but have been wanting to try a Metzler tyre for a while.

Tire reviews are very subjective, just like what oil to use. I usually buy Metzeler, unless another brand is running a sale that I can't ignore.

This last time around, I bought some Bridgestone T30 Evo's, and they came out to $200 for the pair. So far I have no complaints. To me, it's really about price and value, and the PR4's are just too expensive to me to justify their raving reviews.
