Multistrada Top Case?

I've been looking into getting a way to fit the Multistrada top case onto my Hyperstrada. It's bigger, solid, lockable to the same key as your bike, and a whole lot more convenient thanks to all that.

Anyone else out here interested? Anyone else here thought about it/tried it?

A couple guys have. The bolt holes from the baseplate will fit rite on. Buy the hyperstrada support braces, drill a couple holes in the baseplate to make the whole unit stronger and you should be good to snap the multistrada case on you're bike. There are a couple threads on the site worth looking up including my top case build which I believe has part numbers for the braces you need

Why not the Multistrada baseplate rather than Hyperstrada? ANy reason behind it?

Sweet! Thanks for all the replies - I've ordered the parts and am going to replace the top plate with the multistrada one.

Thanks again!

I recently installed the multi base plate on the Hyperstrada support arms to mount my old Givi V46 as R6chase suggested.

The Multi mounting plate came with the correct collared M6 screws for mounting to the HS arms. The only thing I did differently was to insert a couple of spacers between the plate and where it actually attaches to the support arms. The plate did not seem to seat quite right without the spacers. Oh yeah, this meant that the 2 capscrews that go through the plate and spacers(about 5mm worth)needed to be about that much longer than the ones that came with the Multi plate. Hope this makes sense!
