Hey everyone, I have a 2013 Ducati Hyperstrada 821, I have some things that I think is shouldn't be that way and just want to see if someone had the same issue.

1. Play in the rear lower bushing on the shock.
When the bike on the mid stand and you push the rear end down you can hear a clunking noise, the movement come from the lower bushing. I did my best to find any information about it, emailed the company that made them, and no response. Wondering if someone replaced it before and can guide me with and sizes or information.

2. Steering wheel shakes after 140 km/h.
I checked the bearing and they have no play. I replaced all the bushings in the fork last year. The only play I have is in the steering wheel connection, from what I can see there is a rubber. When I drive over 140km/h, I can see the lower fork (the piston that goes in the fork ) move forward and backwards if you compare to the top. Visually, it's the only parts that shakes Steering wheel and lower forks. (I checked tire pressure and tightened the steering stem bearing, new tire from last season.)

3. Misfire on any mode or gear between 6k-7k RPM.
When it's reached 6k RPM and I keep it around it, it feels like misfire, like the power cuts off for a millisecond. (I replaced the sparkplug 1 month ago.)

Thanks in advance for your help / information.

Hello!

I have a 2013 Hyperstrada. That's a good description for point 1: I will try that on mine and see if I have any play or noise when I depress the rear end.
Issue #2 sounds very serious; I would take it into an expert for diagnostics if at all possible. For mine, I can go over 100 (Mph) without any shaking or issues. So that's alarming!

Do you have the charcoal canister on? It's located by the front cylinder. Some people have issues with it, but I am not sure if that's related to your misfire at mid RPM. Was it doing that before you changed the spark plug?

Be sure to checkout the other threads about the Eldor/Beru coil issues; it sounds like people had a more consistent bike after swapping the whole coil out.

Hello, I've bought one 2014, last year follow the thinks I've have

1. Play in the rear lower bushing on the shock.
My rear shock was not functional, I've recovery then by changing inner seals, oil and gas
I had a similar problem, in my case the bearing was completely damaged and I had to balance the wheel.
Now I can feel a small tremor when passing 150km/h, the next step is to install a steering dumper.

3. Misfire on any mode or gear between 6k-7k RPM.
When it's reached 6k RPM and I keep it around it, it feels like misfire, like the power cuts off for a millisecond. (I replaced the sparkplug 1 month ago.)

Thanks in advance for your help / information.
I have the same problem on mine. But I didn't look, I took the opportunity to do a total overhaul of everything, take the opportunity to disassemble the entire bike, change sparks, belts, chain, clean the entire injection system, fuel lines and cooling system.
The problem is solved, but I don't know the main cause.

Yes, I also had a bad front bearing. Easy to check. It also sounds like you did a lot of work - is everything aligned properly. Shouldn't need a steering damper, though some put one on.
