I love my Hyper, but I'm sure looking forward to more details on the 2017 Supersport, particularly the S model with Ohlins front and rear. From what I've read so far, it sounds like the bike I've wished Ducati would produce for several years. The only possible non-starter is the so-called "shot gun" exhaust, required to comply with the latest EU noise requirements. Hopefully the US version will sport the Panigale style exhaust, a la the US 959 vs. the European 959.

Oh and by the way, the shotguns will be on all Panigales by 2018. Look for the first Euro 4-compliant 1299 to sprout them at the major motorcycle shows before the end of the year. The US/AUS/NZ/CAN 959 will also move in that direction within a year, so I'd say the Supersport is likely to also be have a double-barrelled exhaust.
