Nice lucky sod, sounds good. did you have any more options fitted other than the rear grab handle?
 
The rear grab handle is standard on the hyperstrada; it also has the upper attaching points for the panniers
 
and the servo sound when he switched ignition on? fuel pump?

gotta say, this is my first twin and it's pretty noisy at idle. I hope it's smoother at speed than the 883 Sportster I rode. Millions of Duc fans can't be wrong, right?
 
The noise of a Ducati twin is music to everyone here's ears...I'm sure you'll be pleased with the sound of the bike in person especially after you've flogged it through some of your favorite roads and seen the joy a Duc twin can bring you.
 
I think that servo noise is the ABS test when he turns key to first position. I had an Acura that did that.

And did you see the friggin landscape in that shot?! Wish I had a castle for my first photo shoot. Looks like Ireland.

You could got to Saint Augustin and shoot in front Castillo De San Marcos, its a pretty cool old fort.;)
 
@gatdammit: the servo noise you heard is the chain tensioner (hope it's written well) and if you notice the plate there's a CZ, should means Czech Republic.
 
Hi, this video was taken by me :). It's not my bike, but just a demo bike from the local dealer. I planned to buy Hyperstrada but after the test ride I have ordered StreetFighter 848.
I can't say anything bad about Hyperstrada, everything is perfect, but unfortunately for me the riding position is too much touring.
The tape on the dash is telling what is the max rev. This bike has done only 1200 km (it's still being run in) so it's not good to rev it to the rev limiter.
And it was taken in Czech Republic quite close to the Brno racetrack (you might know it from MotoGP / WSBK races). Castle is called Veveří :).

How did the bike handle?
How was it on low speed?
Vibrations?

Took my friend on the Hyper who hadn't been on a motorbike before and he brought his GoPro with him.... Made this cool video of our day out... It's all shot near Sydney, Australia.
