Grettings fellow travellers.
I joined the ranks of the Hyper Owners two days ago when I picked up my Red Hyperstrada Low with low seat option (as well as being an old bloke, I am a bit of a runt). Only managed to squeeze in 496 kms this weekend (half way to first service) including a few mountain twisties. Such fun.
Really would have liked the heated grips this morning (5 degrees centigrade in the Southern Hemisphere winter) but they are still on their way from Bolonga, as is the Termi.
Along with a few old bikes, I have also been ridding my wife's Monster 659 (a 696 adapted for the Australian Learner Rider Scheme) and while it is stacks of fun, that Testastretta engine of the Hyper is just sensational; can't wait until it is broken in and I can let those 110 ponies have a proper gallop.
I look forward to sharing info and experiences with you all.

If the grips are coming from 'Bolonga', you'll never heat your hands! Pedro, Pedro don't misspell the name of the temple's town.

Thanks for correction Strada. I do hope they are comming from Bologna as there is still plenty of winter ahead.

Welcome! I wish I would have known that there was a lower version back in December when I put my deposit down. I am a wee bit challenged with it comes to height too. Oh well, as long as I don't stop I'm good :D . I too am waiting on the heated grips but being it's summer guess I won't need them for a while. These bikes are certainly a blast to ride.
