Odometer flashing dashes

Just clicked over 14,000 miles and my odometer is no longer reading out the 14,000, but instead is flashing "------".
Called the dealer, never seen the issue before. How about anyone here? Thanks

Your dash just needs to be re-synced with the BBB. The dealer has to do the fix. Might did this to me to me and was an easy fix for the dealer.

I rode mine for a year with the ------. The miles are still rocking away and being stored. I went last month and they resync it all and I was over 21k miles.

I expected it to keep logging and storing, as the trip odometers are still clicking.
Did your dealers charge you for syncing?

The US takes odometer tampering very seriously. I don't think you'd have to twist a dealers arm to much to fix it.

It was going to cost $70-120 to have the odometer resync and the TPS reset but an employee was very ****** with me so they did it for free. They won't donut while I waited because of all this ***** crap so I had to do another 3 hour round trip to come pick it back up only too see that the odometer was still -------. I knocked on the window, they wheeled it back in and it took 2 min to fix the -----.

What is it with bike shops and poor customer service? It's like they all started at Harley dealerships in the late 90's.

I fixed the dash lines in the odometer a while back at approx 20.000km, now at 36.000km my odometer turned to dashes again... here the dealer charges an hour labor just ti fix it. I didn't find any DIY way to fix this issue.
