Any Aussie hypers going to Phillip Is? I / we are making a 3 week trip out of Brisbane. 1 week getting there, 1 week doing the Great Ocean Road and surrounds before going to the Speedway GP at Etihad Stadium and then 1 week heading home. A new set of tyres and I am good to go. So far there will be 2, 1200 GS's, 1 V-Strom, 1CB FA Honda 500, 1 MT 07, 1 883 Harley and a '13 Hyper. Cheers.
 
Sounds like that would be a great trip. Lots of different bikes in that pack, I bet you'll be one of the few who'll actually enjoy longer distances ;)
 
Thanks Zibbit. 4 of the group are touring around Europe for a month, starting today. *******s! It has been cold, clear and sunny here, 6-21c. So yesterday when I fired up Chooky, I nearly pooped my pants. It cranked over once and then let out a very sharp metallic sound and almost like to much advance on the ignition. Hit the button again and fired up no problems. Phew! Anyhow these 3 are just waiting. Cheers.

Will be a great trip and enjoy....interestingly, I'm heading to Hevery Bay around the same time for a look at some real estate :)
 
Don't think these will last the 5000K round trip so a new set Pirelli Angel GTs are going on tomorrow. A bit ironic as I went to get a new set of Scorpions for the car this morning, but they had ordered the wrong size. So bike in the morning, and car in the afternoon.

Haha! We are heading off on the 10th of October. An easy day to Glen Innes is the plan, and who knows from there. It will involve going over the Snowy Mts however.
 
Brought my trip forward....leaving October 2. Looking to do Sydney to Glen Innes then to Hevery Bay the following day. Looking forward to some of those Queensland country roads.....have the Omni Cruse fitted, the tent and a credit card :)

Will return via the coast and do Waterfall Way :)
