Preventing corrosion

For all you guys that ride on salted roads over winter, would you mind sharing your maintenance schedule to fight off corrosion?

Personally, I've just been generously applying ACF50 wherever I see corrosion starting to appear, and have also had a professional ACF50 treatment done by Allyearbiker:

However if anyone has any tips/tricks up their sleeve, I'd love to hear about them!!

Haha if they put salt down in Canada there will be no more biking! But really I think you're doing all you can, that is if acf50 is what we would call WD40 just a Water Displacing light oil to inhibit the rust. I would wash out the Radiator really well after each ride as it would be you're corosion weak spot.

I use a sacrificial motorcycle - Suzuki DR650 - unless it's warm enough that I can immediately wash the Hyperstrada after riding on salted roads. On the DR, the calipers and other aluminum bits discolor, but other than looks it does no harm. I don't want my HS to look like my poor abused DR.

Thanks for the input guys. I used to have a sacrificial motorcycle - a VFR 750 which saw me through every kind of weather imaginable. I'm hoping the Hyperstrada will do the same, provided I take extra care maintaining it. Hence the reason for starting this thread!

@R6chase - You're on the right track comparing ACF50 to WD40, but it's far, far superior. I highly recommend you check this stuff out if you need to guard any metal from corrosion:
