Radar Detectors and GPS

If I had to get just one add on for a motorcycle it would have to be a radar detector. Don't see how anyone could keep their license without one. Even with the 85 mph speed limits in Texas, and the 75 mph speed limits on two lane blacktop back highways.

The 2nd piece of equipment is the GPS because of my reliance on complicated routes and desire to collect the track files from all my rides. That way my list of great roads keeps current and continues to grow.

But then, when it comes to great twisty roads, I'm a data hound.

I have a Zumo too and wired it into factory plug with a tap for a radar detector. I just need a good waterproof mount if they exist...know any...it's an Escort 9500...

Hey RSL,

You were able to do all that mapping from the zumo? I know the post is a couple years old. Was thinking about getting a zumo or the montana. Thank you!
