Well here's a quick review of a seat cover I got off eBay from this seller:

click here Firma Wijalis

I'm surprised at the quality, and fit.. especially because I payed 127xx CAD shipped, they did a custom material combination for me (Alcantara Top w/red stitching, Black embossed Hyperstrada logo, Italian Flag, CF vinyl patch and Vinyl gripper sides). Obviously shipping time took a little while to get under way because it was custom, but once it was on route it took only a matter of days to arrive at my door. Communication was actually pretty quick (usually a reply within a day). If you are going to do this to your bike, a quick note.. A Conair Clothing steamer is your BEST friend, and a pneumatic stapler is their hot sister. ;)

Anyways, on with a few photos;

Oh, you can also see I swapped to the Magnesium Valve covers from the SP.

Is that also red and white vinyl I see on your tail piece grab handle?

Looks real nice... good work.

Yep, I color matched the tail section using vinyl. It's held up really well considering it's almost 2 yrs old now.

That's awesome. I think I will do the same to mine since the black is pretty BLEH looking.

Since you're into making things look sexy, you might like to know I found some paint that exactly matches the Ducati red paint. It's Duplicolor Toyota Super Red II BTY1560.

Good to know. I wouldn't want to paint my frame (requires too much effort), but the tail section and the side panels I've been contemplating doing them in paint.

Nice covering! Might order the same.
Did you still have the templates for your decals?

Nope no templates, I stretched the vinyl to the sides, then cut very carefully the excess away.

Your butt sticks to the seat, so it's less slidey. I had to waterproof spray the material because it does soak up a lot of moisture (all alcantara does it). Comfort-wise, I'd say it's about the same as stock. Looks wise, 20x better than stock especially when my factory cover had a tear in it :p

lol.. Don't do that, I'm sure yours cleans up well. I like the rim tape in your Avatar pic, is it reflective?

Aye it's just cheap eBay wheel rim decals, my chief bike designer and lead mechanic is my 8 year old son lewis lol. When he wakes his lazy *** up I will show him your bike and we can plan our next eBay decal purchase haha
