Rear Sets Question

Looking for some technical advice, fairly obscure question. I had the dealer remove the center stand on my Strada 939. However as shown in the attached photo they left the "brackets" that the stand attaches to. My question is can I also have them remove this bracket or will new Rear Sets be needed? Apolgies for the less than complete description, I am not the most mechanically astute rider on the block.

You won't need new rear sets, but you may need some spacers to take the place of the bracket to be removed.

Check the parts diagram for the regular motard.
