Removing the bar risers

Hey folks,

Just wondering if anyone has removed the small risers to achieve the same riding posture as the standard Hypermotard? I sat on a standard Hyper a few weeks ago and quite liked the slightly more forward aggressive feel.

What I'm more curious to hear is for anyone who has done this, did you run into any surprises? In other words, something that complicated what appears to be a simple procedure?

Thanks!
Fr.

Ok, good to know.

i use my hyperstrada every day for work but for me is the handlebar a little to high.

yes it is possible. take out the 20mm spacers then re-install risers

I just reinstalled the stock bolts from the bottom of the mount and put the nut on top right under the bars. Easy to reverse if needed and no extra hardware.

I've done it, no problem. Just need shorter bolts.

Lol...my original post goes way back, and this was actually the exact thing I was wondering - in other words, was there more to it than just taking out the spacers :) All said, I still haven't done it, but definitely will.

Any regrets in terms of handling and/or comfort???
