Replacement Antigravity Battery - It's time.

4 years with the 16 cell Antigravity lithium battery appears to be it. Time for a replacement.

Fortunately it appears that there have been a number of advancements with the lithium battery business over the last 4 years.

Another monster output battery for me.

Another perfect fit replacement too. With the connections on all four corners, I can rotate the battery to march the leads. :cool:

That is the one I have. I have never needed to use the 'jump start' button. It cranks slightly better than the OEM. I live in Michigan where it went to -20° this past winter and still didnt have any issues. It's my understanding that the cold can destroy a lithium battery. I believe I need to upgrade my starter power wire to really see a difference.
 
My Shorai needs to be 'warmed up' when it sits in 40F or below for extended periods. I'd run the road lamps/ high beams for a cycle or two and it would crank enough to turn the motor.

Some of this could have been my ****** stock starter. Haven't tested the new Denso in winter.
