seat height

Hi

Spoke to local dealer this week about delivery of my hyperstrada and questioned him about the 3 seat heights listed for the bike.
He told me that there are 2 hyperstrada models, the standard one and a special order low one. The low one is the one to go for if you want the 810mm seat height.

I was told by my dealer that the Hypermotard seat and the Hyperstrada seats are not interchangeable, that the sub frames are just different enough to disallow a random swapping of seats which make no sense to me, why would the OEM do that to its self.

just so you know.

Both of those seats fit just fine on my Strada...that guy is talking nonsense.

I have a low chassis and a normal seat, the lower seat makes very little difference to getting my feet on the floor but the extra padding is better for comfort.

That table is from 2013. It's my understanding that all the 2015 hyperstradas are low. The website spec list confirms this , but it is the ducati website and its not a sure thing. I'd double check your dealer's info.

I have a low chassis too and agree with this. Normal seat, lower seat makes little if any difference. In fact try taking the seat off altogether and that shows little difference also, believe it or not.
