Seat heights and luggage system

I note that three (3) seat heights are specified. Does this mean that the one seat is adjustable to three different height settings, or does it imply three different seat options. Obviously, I hope the former!

Next, in some pix I have noted a tubular strut or bracket (cannot think of a better word) that comes out of the outer or external surface of the pannier bag, towards the bike's frame. I take it this is some kind of support mechanism for the bags.

I wonder if it - the bracket - is permanently attached to either the bag or the frame: any clues on this please folks?

Now that pricing has been officially announced by Ducati for Oz the bike is looking even more attractive at $17,900 plus registration and dealer charges.

Cheers and best... L of S

Hey L of S,
There are 3 different seat options for the bike. As far as your other question, I was wondering the same. On the 24th of this month I will be sitting on one at the bike show. I will have an answer for you...unless someone knows before that.

I was looking at the bag mounting while at the Seattle show. The bags unhook from the mounts with very little effort. The brackets that the bags mount to can be unbolted from the bike. One of the bracket mounting points is under the rear fender. The Hyperstrada is basically the Hypermotard with a different seat, windshield, panniers, longer front fender and a few other items.;)
