Thinking of going with the SP Tapered Bars when I finally get the heated grips fitted if and when they turn up. Another option would be Pro Taper or Rizoma. Difficulty is knowing what pull back, rise, and width to buy. Its hard to judge on the bike. If anybody has any information on the standard width, pull back and rise it would be appreciated.:)

The last few bars I've bought have all been pro-tapers and they've held up pretty well.
Width, pull-back, rise height are all based on your personal preference.

I like a wide, tall bar with very little pull-back so that it's comfortable standing up and gives me the most leverage, but I'm used to riding dirt bikes. At the other end of the spectrum, a low, narrower bar with more pull-back will be more comfortable cruising at higher speeds and tucking in.

The other dimension to check is the control area. You want to make sure there's enough straight section to mount the grips you like, controls, and mirrors. Clamp width usually isn't a big problem.
