spontaneous 5500 rpm limit

so .. after getting my dash and ECU changed, i just got stopped by an engine that wouldn't rev beyond 5500 rpm. this would only go away after re-starting the bike (i am not kidding).

i am furious and considering selling the bike even though i liked it when it worked.

I started getting that again. It's like a limp mode. Mine used to do it before the ECU update and has been quiet for almost a year. I've gotten good at restarting on the fly. I mostly get it on cold starts but had one after the bike was warm today.

I'll be addressing this with recalls soon.
