Has anyone here compared a street triple to the hyper? The 2018 street triple is getting some rave reviews. I know the engines are probably more different than similar, but I'm mostly curious about how the bikes compare in terms of handling.

I rented a 2017 Street Triple R (675). Big difference I felt was the bike was much smoother than the Hyper 939 even with the full Termi exhaust. Also felt lighter. I really liked it but felt honestly it didn't have the character of the big twin beast. Felt I would get bored over time. Very easy to ride however.
