So I've been mulling over selling the Hyper and going back to an MTS and have decided it is time. So here is the skinny:
2014 Hyperstrada in White. 74XX miles. Low Version. Mods/upgrades include motard carbon front screen, GIVI top case, arrow exhaust and R&G tidy tail kit. All stock parts are included (clear windscreen, stock exhaust, stock tail parts) Bike has had 600 mile service, oil change at 3500 miles and oil change todayat 7400 miles all done at Ducati dealer. Also did front and rear brake fluid flush today. $8500 puts you in the saddle. PM me with questions.

You might have better luck doing a trade in being as though you want to stay in the Ducati family.

Thanks. Obviously I can do that anytime and recognize that is one option. A dealership is a business, so they would have to offer me a lesser wholesale value in order to have the ability to re-sell this bike. I respect that.
I am in no rush to sell, and there are many advantages to myself and a prospective buyer via private party sale. I feel I am offering a fair price for the condition, mileage and accessories. Eventually, the right person will be looking for a bike like this.

I had mine for sale for a while last season with only one nibble on the advertisement, so I've since come to the conclusion that my bike isn't worth selling because I'll loose too much money. So instead I'll just enjoy the ride.

GLWS, it is a nice HS.

Thanks...Fortunately in California the "season" is 12 months long. :D

Chances are no one here will be interested because we already have hypers. I've had the best luck with craigslist even though it means dealing with random sketchy people.

Bike sold. Parts left over

Sold my bike (2014) for a bit less and kept some of the extras.

Available:

Carbon Fiber windscreen (pic attached)
$110 shipped in the US

GIVI Monokey Top Case (pic attached)
$100 local pick up in socal (unless you want to pay for shipping)

Stock Exhaust (was on the bike for first 1500 miles)
$100 local pick up in socal (unless you want to pay for shipping)

PM for more details

Big Congrats on the sale!
I hope your Strada did not leave a "bad taste" in your mouth? Any idea what will be your next bike?

I plan to sell my bike within a year, it will still have 6 months warranty then.
It will be a hard sell as it's got about 20K miles on it and has rebuilt front cylinder.
But price will reflect all that.

I'm looking at a '17 KTM Duke 690 .... just not sure on it.

Absolutely NOT. Hyper was probably my favorite bike that I've owned to date. I had an 06 MTS before the Hyper and my next bike will be a 15-16 MTS 1200 S. Or maybe (big big maybe) KTM Superduke 1290 GT.

Don't go KTM. I've heard so many horror stories. One of my friends with a 690 SMC had it blow up twice and cost him $2000 in repairs. We both know that the VStrom is the best :D Have you ridden one of the new 650's or 1000's since the updates?

I'm not selling my hyper, it's my grow old with Sunday bike. But if I were buying another fun mostly around town and cool roads I would look hard at the Duke 390. It's cheap, has nice power to weight ratio and from what I have read the 17 model upgraded just enough so that you don't have to pour money into the dang thing as soon as you buy it.

What is the model number and size of the top case (# liters)? Are you selling with the mounting plate included?

Yes the mounting plate is included. It says GIVI monolock system. Not sure about the model number (cant find it on the case) or size....can just put up a few pics. It fits at least a helmet and pair of shoes and some other stuff all at the same time.

You can PM me and I can text you pics of just the case

Also, if it helps, it is larger than 1 side pannier. Here is a pic of the mounting plate
