Top rack

Okay I have base model Hypermotard, I want to get some storage since I will beginning college in a month. I'd like to keep school books in there, maybe a spare helmet in case of a passenger, or grab my books and leave my gear in there locked so people stay honest and don't steal. Im gravitating to the grab handles, top case with a backrest for a passenger. I don't like how the ducati performance top case isn't lockable.

My current shopping list now is the ducati grab handles, GIVI SRA7403 (rack with mounting arms) and a givi B33. I am thinking the B33 fits the budget and would match my needs good. I dont really want to go for anything huge. Does anybody have pictures of this top case on a hyper or experience with the case? I think it would look okay on my matte black hyper.

I found a guy in japan with that exact set up I mentioned. I wish there were more pictures but it will do for now.



Also any pictures of the givi trekkers on hyperstrada? I think it would compliment the enduro style alot better

I am thinking just order the one from the ducati performance catalog. It seems to be the best match to the bike and I have the lock cams to key it to my ignition key. A little expensive for a 31L case, but it should be enough. Much better looking I think, but at a premium it better be..

EDIT: I ordered it and the grab handles. A dealer a state over had them in stock and will have them in a few days. I'll return with some pictures, I think it will look great on the matte black hyper.

Yeah, that looks nice. Only thing is it lacks the backrest and IMO nothing matches the look of the back like the ducati performance top case. The top case is on my bike now, soon I will have to upload some pictures. Im curious if the ducati top case's supporting rods will clear Termignoni high exhaust.
