Hope everyone is having a good summer!

I have a track day coming up and need some info/input.
I have removed the license plate/indicator bracket, unplugged the wiring harness. Will that throw any codes riding like that?
What tire pressure are you guys running? (Pilot Power 3)
Its the first time with the hyper on the track, sport or touring mode?
Coolant has been changed to water wetter.

Thanks for your replies!
Cheers

Having done many track days in the past may I recommend saving the time and pain in the *** by just taping off your lights. No need to remove them. If you crash your likely to have much more to worry about than the lights.

You won't need to change to water wetter unless the track or the organization requires it. Your going to be going fast so there is not worry about over heating, unless there is a problem with the bike and Water Wetter wont help you then. Oh I see you already did the swap... oh well ;)

As far as mode goes I'd start in either Touring or Urban depending on your riding style and see how it goes. The beauty of the throttle by wire system is you can go in and change the TC and ABS settings so if you want 75hp and next to no TC you can have it! I'd say the bigger HP modes would be for point and shoot style riding and the lower ones would be for 250 style riding (more corner speed) but you sure could ride the sport mode 250 style. Its all how you feel it out.

I personally like lower power bikes that I have to keep the speed up on so when I do get this thing to the track I'll be running the 75hp mode depending on the track size of course.

Thanks guys!

I unplugged only the rear indicator and license plate light/bracket. Rear brake light is still hooked up. All other lights are taped up.
Went for a 100km ride last night and no codes are showing.
Organization does require water wetter.
