Hello riders,

yesterday i dismounted the original license plate holder and wanted to see if i could install after market turn signals.
But i have seen that the original turn signals are not screw mounted on the license plate holder, like normal turn signals.

Now to my question:
Does anybody know how to mount normal after market turn signals on the original license plate holder or is there another solution that i haven't seen.

Tail tidy, and get ready for a wet muddy back. That's about it. Or you could try to find some smaller LED signals like I did, they came with the ebay seller's Termi kit. DOT legal, and they didn't change the flash rate.

But i don't really want to change my license plante holder,
because i don't think its so ugly.

On the official rizoma site i have found something for the front,
But nothing for The back.

If i don't find anything, i think i will build something myself or letit be like it is.

Thx

These signals are Ducati parts, they fit the OEM tail section just like the originals. They are about 2/3 the size of OEM. Here's a pic, note my home made 'ducktail' splash guard. Keeps 90% of the splash off, although I haven't tried it in an actual downpour.

I like to be seen, some riders do dumb stuff like converting their taillight into pseudo turn signals. IMHO they are asking to get hit.

Same stalk just shorter lenses. I had to go look at my signals to tell the difference.

Hallo Zippy and gatdammit

I don´t want much smaller turn signals only a little bit better looking, quality (Alu) and LED for the tail.

The originals aren´t really my style, so i thougt about changing them.
But i will see if i have time to make an appropriate turn signal holder for a Ducati :D.

I also wanted to exchange the front ones to LED style, but i didn´t find handguards that are stylish and had a good price.

It´s really a shame that Ducati didn´t mount complete LED style turn signals on a 15000€ bike......

led turn signals

:) Just bite the bullet and get the Ducati ones, they fit perfect, look great and only take about 20 minutes to install.

Hey riders

Here is the review for the Ducati performance turn signals in my upper post.

The turn signals can be ordered with the mounting points from the original tail, or the normal ones with the thread.

I´ve ordered the ones for the original mounting points.

The turn signals are really bright, the material is aluminium (black coloured) and the signals can be mounted and used without any soldering work.

Only connect the wires to the original cables and it works without resistor.

The quality of the turn signals is really goodand they aren´t too pricy either.

I´ve bought them @ about 74€.
My last Rizomas for the SV were@ about 90€.

And to show the difference, here are some pics:

Why can´t i upload bigger pics, everytime i upload them
