Meh.. who needs wheels anyways.. hover bikes ftw

Quick question.. but does your front stand on the SV work on the Strada?

I haven't tried the SV stand on the Strada. Based on my scientific analysis (eyeballing it) the stand would not work without removing the front fairing. It would get in the way of the stand making it to the head tube.

I got a Lockhart/Phillips front stand with our SV. All I had to do for the Strada was make an adapter on my lathe, as shown below. The hole in the bottom of the triples is much bigger on the Ducati. The stand does not touch any of the plastic when in use.

I can post dimensions if anyone wants them.

How's the Termi sound on your Hyper? Brand new Hyper owner and love the sound of the stock exhaust, but that Termi has got caché!

please do.

Okay, here they are:

Upper OD: 28mm (hole in steering stem)
Lower OD: bigger than the upper - mine is just a piece of leftover stock about 42mm.
Lower ID: 18mm but that's to fit my stand's post, for the SV.
Upper stem length: at least 40mm, mine is about 45mm.
Lower (spacer) thickness: 17mm but that's for my front stand, YMMV. If you leave the upper stem good and long you can add spacers if you need more clearance.

I think you could make one from HDPE, too. If anyone is interested, I could supply a few. Shipping to Canada is ridiculously expensive, though.

One last warning...you need a center or rear stand to use one of these.

It's fanstastic!!! It was a boat load of money but I really love it. The stock pipe was ok, the Termi is magic to my ears. Even my buddy that rides a SV1000 with dual Yoshimura cans melts when he hears it.

Hopefully I'll have some wheels on one or both this weekend!!!

A little sneak peak. Hopefully I'll be up and running next weekend.
