Since basically bringing the Hypermotard SP home from the dealer, I have hated the color scheme. Overall i'm pretty happy with it, my main concern is longevity, so we'll see. I also had them vinyl wrap the tank in a matte carbon fiber as well to match the front fender and engine covers.

so here is the before...

next up is an exhaust...

Some vinyl shops use a strong adhesive tape to seal the edges of heated vinyl.. I'm guessing they had to do that.

Cozmo, looking good. I especially like the carbon look material. I am wondering how it holds up to the sunlight? If it is fairly durable, maybe the luggage could be wrapped in it? I scuffed up my top case recently, by for getting to lock it in place on the rack... a typical boneheaded thing... Anyway, I was thinking about the sun-fade of the bag fabric too.

The guy at the shop said it shouldn't fade in the sun. They use 3M film so not sure how cheaper films would fare.

Looks real good! I much prefer it to the multi colour SP scheme.
Why have you changed the handgaurds?

Hand guards were changed for something that would actually offer real protection and not shatter into a million pieces if the bike was dropped.

That and because I've had it on the track a few times, so I wanted the protection there.

They are cycra probends with the low profile shield

I'm looking at getting my fairings wrapped too... the '15 SP graphics are just... so nice. Any problems/regrets/etc with wrapping yours? How much did it cost?

Also I like all the changes you made - what'd you do about the turn signals tho?
