Had the break-in service done today. I'm surprised at the difference it made. There is much less "on-off" with the throttle. It is much more smooth than before. It seems to like to cruise at 4K rpm. Below that is seems to lug the engine.

well i have done around 600 miles on the strada now. It is pretty good for the roads around north yorkshire which have loads of surface changes and have loads of little jumps to get the bike airborne. I had a new bmw s1000 naked bike behind me yesterday which couldn't keep up due to the road...

Well I will be off for a 3 hr ride over the mountains to the dealer in the morning. Going in for the first service. At least I'll get a free lunch out of the deal. Bellevue Ducati does a BBQ every Saturday.
