Just got back from a track day on my '13 821 hyper. I'm no racer and rode in the novice group, but the bike did great. In total I covered 140km, don't think I was ever below 6000 RPM. Not a single complaint from the 821. Pirelli Angel GT tires were up to the task as well, plenty of grip once...
