Ducati branded Carbon Fiber racing windscreen
50$ + 12$ shipping price = 62$.
This was removed from a 2014 Hyperstrada 821 that the previous owner installed.
Includes the 4 mounting bolts. Official Ducati, not generic.
Looks in great shape, like new condition, and ready for a good home...
Playing around with some carbon fiber the past 2 nights. Shift-tech warns that their exhaust might not clear the strada bags but I was willing to take the risk because I love the look. I have it pointing up slightly higher which doesnt help but I love the look. I planned to make a heat shield...
This is my 2nd attempt at working with carbon fiber. I thought for sure this piece would be simple.......it was not. I couldn't get enough vacuum to pull the material into the tight turns that flow right back into the bolt hole indents. I decided to make 2 molds and do a sandwich with some...

In good shape. This is the genuine Ducati one... not the generic eBay one.
I believe these are about $250 from Ducati.
$125 shipped.

When I picked up my 14 Hyperstrada from the dealer they had put a shiny finish carbon rear fender and exhaust pipe heat shield on it and a flat finish carbon tank cover and flat on the Termi exhaust.
So as I slowly do the rest of the bike which finish...
I am thinking to remove the windshield and the headlight cover to replace it with the Hypermotard style one. Did anybody have any experience with that? The only product I have found is on ebay and it's 99 + S&H. That's for the carbon fiber one. I really don't need carbon fiber - the OEM part...
I found this surfin' the net:
ducati hyperstrada carbon fibre parts - carbonhouse
The price is cheaper than the original Duc's parts because fiberglass is added to carbon; if a full carbon fiber part, or a special graphic is needed just mail them.
