I just purchased a new (to me) 2014 HS. It has a great slip-on but... it's quite loud.
How does one "reconnect" the exhaust flapper valve? It still "sweeps" during startup btw, so the cable IS connected... But it doesn't actually seem to close the valve when the bike is running...

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what i need to disconnect in order to try this "fix" that seems to be very popular? I've heard its just a case of disconnecting a cable?
Does it throw up dash errors at all?
I have purchased a Healtech ESE - so I can delete the Exhaust Flapper Valve action without getting codes etc.
If anybody has done this can they advise where I find the plug for the servo motor for the flapper valve?
