Skateboard tape is helpful when things become slippery.

My problem with the Hyperstrada foot pegs is that they don't grip well. Whether with the rubber inserts in or out.
A layer of tape may be the hot ticket for easily solving the foot peg issue...

Got off the bike yesterday and found a small hole in the rubber outer layer of the LHS heated grip. Presumably the coppery stuff underneath is the heated element.
