limit

Based on previous experience I know that the bike limits revs to 8500k or so if it thinks the clutch lever is pulled in. At first glance this makes sense, but, as I found during my road trip, this results in annoying behavior if running the bike to redline and I'm not sure if it's expected...

Hey all Just got mine back from the shop again. I'm not convinced its fixed. One of the things I am confused about is my bike is rev limiting at around 8250-8500. My manual says 10,500. its a 13 821 strada. What does yours go too? The tech says they limit right where mine is, but I'm not...

so .. after getting my dash and ECU changed, i just got stopped by an engine that wouldn't rev beyond 5500 rpm. this would only go away after re-starting the bike (i am not kidding). i am furious and considering selling the bike even though i liked it when it worked. :mad:
