It's down to these two to replace the still near new stock Scorpion trails of which I've heard some horror stories, like on hot roads they turn to oil...:eek: It doesn't ever get legit cold here in Brisbane in winter and summer gets lethally hot. So I'm thinking maybe the Diablos...? :confused:

Pleased to report amazing tire tread life with the new Metzeler Roadtec 01. I suspect that a lot of this life has to do with the Mupo shock keeping the tire well connected to the road surface. Anyway, this tire will last a very long time. Attached is a giant photo for your close look.

I put the Continental TKC-70s away for the season in order to have the new Metzeler Roadtec 01 tires installed ahead of my next big ride. Why? Because the other riders made me swear that the entire ride would be paved. Why the Roadtec 01s? Because of the reviews about the grip in cool/cold and...
