Had the break-in service done today. I'm surprised at the difference it made. There is much less "on-off" with the throttle. It is much more smooth than before. It seems to like to cruise at 4K rpm. Below that is seems to lug the engine.

So let me ask owner's who've have their bikes for a couple years now. Did you wait to do an oil change for 9,000 miles? If so did you notice anything odd as the oil was breaking down? If not then what did you do exactly, a top off or a full drain and change oil and filter?
