I have to do something about the mirrors. 60% of the view is my shoulders and it is hard to see traffic behind. So I need longer mirrors or a mirror extenders or mirrors attached to the end of the handlebar. Guys, please give me some advice.

So I just got my Monster 1200 mirrors for the bike. I think they look awesome. Much more fluent looking than stock. One problem I came across is that I have a long back (i.e. I'm tall) and I can't adjust the mirrors far enough up so I can see behind me properly. Oooops. Anywho, I'm fixing that...
