odometer

Started the bike this afternoon and hey its never been ridden! What now?

Anybody else had this happenwith their odometrer? Mine started doing this yesterday, a line of ______for the main odometer reading. I'm in the middle of a trip so if it's not important would rather deal with it when I return home. The bike seems to run just fine with no noticeable change...
