In the process of doing the judder spring install on my hypermotard 821 I found the bolt that holds the brake lever in place has stripped all but 2 thread out of the mount. Fixing isnt to difficult but I'm trying to make sure I have the thread size/ pitch correct. M8x1.25 is what seems to work...

Oh well, after 6 years and 27k miles, my rear exhaust header needs some TLC. Noticed over a while a slight blowing and cackle/pop on off throttle, getting gradually worse and can see clearly now that the rear header is cracked. Going to strip it down for the 27k service and get the header away...

A couple of mine were stolen or fell off. Anyone do a tail tidy and have some extras. They sure are ugly and dorky but I'd rather not trade off any night visibility. Anybody do anything different here? Thx, The Count

On random visual inspection I noticed my bolts holding the rear fender on seemed too proud. I tried to turn my hand and they were only in a couple of threads. Missing Loctite. Might want to check yours. Heads up. 750 miles.
