I’ve spent way too much time researching, and frankly, I’m still not sure what I learned. I’m nearly positive that my 2016 model is a low model, as discussed on here countless times. I’m going to fix that, but like others who’ve come before me, and those who will come after me, there’s the...
Hoping someone can take a quick few measurements for me.
I'm interested in the shock length (eye to eye), overall diameter, mounting bolt diameters, and eyelet widths on a stock Hyperstrada or Hypermotard shock. Please let me know your model/version and year.
Thank you!
Could this be true or is my translator not accurate? I snagged this add from a Thiland hypermotard FB page. Does anyone have first hand experience with This? Side note, if you want to see some cool wild hypermotard mods check out the Thiland FB pages. Aftermarket wheels, full disassemble and...
As new.
I had a lowered one fitted to the bike before I collected my brand new HS. The original one has never been used.

Hi Guys,

I am selling a rear shock off my crashed 2015 'Strada.
It's Ohlins TTX technology with adjustable preload, compression and rebound. The length fits 2015 or 2016 standard Hyperstrada or lowered versions from previous years.
The shock was purchased in 2016 and I have ridden less than 3000...
Selling my rear SP Shock the OEM Ohlins. Off a 2016 Model, has 1700 Miles on it and the ohlins sticker has some gravel nicks. will post up a picture later.

Recalled tire life:

3rd tire: 1,500 miles
Yes, I'm hard of tires as I test the adhesion qualities of every tire. That noted, I have routinely gotten 3,500 to 6,000 miles out of tires on a number of street bikes. All heavier and more available...
I haven't found any info in my owners manual on that little air canister (beside the rear power outlet), which appears to be part of the rear shock. It has a Schrader valve on it, but I don't know if a specific air pressure should be maintained? Am I missing something?
I have a wilburs rear shock with only a couple hundred miles on, no longer have the bike, shock cost me $585.00 would like to get 350 for it it's really perfect.
thanks, mark
Hello fellow riders,
the rear shock on my 2013 is squeaking hard when i sit on my bike.
It´s just like an old car !
I´ve tried to lube the mounting points of the rear shock,
but no improvement.
Has anybody an idea how to get this ugly noise away.
Thanks in advance
SH
Has anyone been able to find a shock upgrade for these bad babies yet? I e-mailed Ohlins and they say they have nothing in the catalog for Hypermotard or Hyperstrada. I'm also working with Penkse as well. Are there other options out there that anyone knows about? Traxxion Dynamics has a fork...
Maybe i am blind or missed out the devil details.
Was flipping thru ebay and saw this picture. No wonder the adjustment knob is not giving true feedback.
I guess ducati wanted us to 'see' instead of 'feel'. lol
Maybe the rest of you know about it. Darn.....this is my first.
Hi there,
I've been driving a Yamaha XJ6 where I could adjust the spring preload only. First I drove with the setting of 3 and over the months I brought it up to the max of 7 (hardest) for curve stability. After 4 days of driving I realized that the setting on the Strada is too soft now, too...
